Our Second Book in our Dave Reads series is actually three books in the business book category
My friend, Victoria Porter Cramer is without question, the most accomplished cyclist and professional I know. All of this, before she was diagnosed with cancer or became a mother. Her attitudes towards all these challenges is astounding and while I have a few feathers in my cap and have accomplished a few things out there, she makes me feel a bit lazy.
Everyone should get to know Victoria. Highly recommended reads.
These books are endorsed by Bear Grylls and Lance Armstrong. LEGIT.
Specifically, on Page 53 of her third book she urges us to curate joy in your life. What really jumped out to me was the idea of removing what does not bring you joy and she cites watching the news. There is a lot of bad news out there and unnecessary strife. I try to avoid it as much as possible reading just a few articles and hoping to see a success story from one of my clients.
Stay tuned for the next Dave Reads post where I will be putting down my thoughts on Arnold Schwargenegger’s new book. This one will start to steer a bit away from the Business book category and I found to be another good Autobiography. Sorry Arnold, I still am a bit more of a fan of Victoria Porter Cramer’s writing(!)
